摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for an electrode with improved electron conductivity, and provide a power storage device including the same. <P>SOLUTION: In a process of manufacturing a material for an electrode containing a lithium phosphate compound with an olivine structure represented by a general formula LiMPO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>or containing a lithium silicate compound with an olivine structure represented by a general formula Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>MSiO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, by addition of a metal element with a different valence from the metal element represented by M, the metal element with the different valence serves as a carrier generator in the material for an electrode, thereby improving the electron conductivity of the material for an electrode to be manufactured.
