FILAMENT NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR HEAT-RESISTANT FILTER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament nonwoven fabric for a heat-resistant filter that is excellent in both pleat-shape retainability under elevated temperature and long-term heat resistance and to provide a method for producing the same.

SOLUTION: A filament nonwoven fabric for a heat-resistant filter is composed of a nonwoven fabric that comprises filaments mainly consisting of polyphenylene sulfide, and a hanging length at normal temperature is 40 mm or less and the difference between hanging lengths at normal temperature and at a temperature of 170°C is 35 mm or less.
