<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device having electric conduction means for connecting both of electric conduction layers electrically and having a function of detecting whether or not data written in a fuse ROM is consistent with expectation value data showing a write expectation value. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor device in the present invention includes a comparison part 600 that receives supply of write data showing a write status of the fuse ROM from each of fuse circuits 51A, 51B and 51C. The comparison part 600 also receives input of expectation value data to be written in the fuse ROM, compares the expectation value data with the write data showing the write status actually written in the fuse ROM, and outputs a comparison result.
