<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actual length measuring device capable of easily and simply measuring a path on the surface of a map. <P>SOLUTION: The actual length measuring device for measuring the length of a path tracing the surface of a map includes: a first body having a tracing part, an infrared ray delivery part, and an ultrasonic wave delivery part; and a second body for acquiring the length of the path traced by the tracing part. The second body includes: an infrared ray receiving part for receiving an infrared ray from the infrared ray delivery part; a plurality of ultrasonic wave receiving parts for receiving ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic wave delivery part; and a calculation part for calculating each distance from the ultrasonic wave delivery part to the plurality of ultrasonic wave receiving parts based on a delay time difference of each ultrasonic wave received by the plurality of ultrasonic wave receiving parts from the infrared ray received by the infrared ray receiving part to notify of the position of the first body, and issuing this notification for each reception of an infrared ray and an ultrasonic wave from the first body, and accumulatively adding the changing amounts of the fist body position to acquire the length of the path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
