<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet apparatus at low cost which has fire-extinguishing functions enabling long-time firefighting and quick and accurate operation. <P>SOLUTION: A faucet apparatus 1 placed at a sink base 50 of a house comprises: a water discharge head 10 having a water discharge port 12 and a handle part 11; a faucet 30 for operating to discharge or stop water from the water discharge head 10; a draw hose 40 having one end connected to the water discharge head 10 and the other end connected to a water supply part for supplying water to the faucet apparatus 1 and drawable from the sink base 50 through the water discharge head 10; and a fire-extinguishing agent supply part 52 placed beside the sink base 50 and supplying a fire-extinguishing agent to the water discharge head 10 through the draw hose 40. The fire-extinguishing agent supply part 52 includes a fire-extinguishing agent tank 520 for storing the fire-extinguishing agent, a fire-extinguishing agent pressure cartridge 521 for pressurizing the inside of the fire-extinguishing agent tank 520, and a fire-extinguishing agent start switch 522 for starting the fire-extinguishing agent pressure cartridge 521. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
