<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling a variable displacement pump, in which a practically excellent hydraulic circuit can be constructed using a variable displacement pump and a closed center type directional valve and the pump can be operated even at emergency without marring its economy and favorable operability that a bleed-off control method has and can be controlled in the whole range of the amount of its operation and further can be controlled according to the bleed-off property of each actuator. <P>SOLUTION: This method detects the actual amount of pump discharge of the variable displacement pump 2 and the amount of operation of each control valve 4, makes the actual amount of pump discharge the flow of an actuator, computes the flow of bleed-off, based on the amount of operation, computes a flow value, where the flow of the actuator and the flow of bleed-off are subtracted, from the virtual amount of pump discharge of the variable displacement pump 2, and decides the control command quantity of the variable displacement pump 2, based on the flow value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
