<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilling machine capable of: controlling a load of lifting a handle, keeping compactablity; and stably supporting a rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The tilling machine 10 includes: drive shafts 44 projecting from a bottom end 42c of a deceleration case 42 to right and left sides, right and left rotors 25, 26 freely detachably engaged to the drive shafts; and a handle column 17 extending to a backside of the machine from an upper end 42b of the deceleration case. The tilling machine 10 also includes: a support member 51 disposed at a deceleration case and extended in a machine body width direction; and right and left stud sections 52, 53 extended from both end sections of the support member to the backside of the machine body along the handle column.
