The cover (1) has a bend-flexible metal reinforcement (9) and a closed elastic membrane (6) made of silicone, where the reinforcement is embedded into the membrane and designed as a helically wound coil (7). The reinforcement is formed with bend permitting slots. Tubular terminal pieces (2) are provided at ends of the cover, where the ends of the cover are connected with the membrane. The reinforcement is directly connected with the terminal pieces through welding. Multiple holes (8) are formed in a pipe socket (4) of the terminal piece.
