METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING WIRELESS NETWORK IN A DIGITAL DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for connecting a wireless network in a digital device and a device thereof are provided to automatically connect digital devices based on a LAN(Local Area Network). CONSTITUTION: A wireless LAN module(110) receives a signal from a counterpart digital device. A controller(100) compares the strength of the received signal with a preset threshold value. The controller determines whether the counterpart digital device is adjacent. When the controller determines that the counterpart digital device is adjacent, the controller performs wireless LAN connection with the counterpart digital device. The controller automatically executes an application program using the wireless LAN connection.
