PURPOSE: A method for processing data by a smart card reader driver is provided to safely process data without an additional security program when a smart card reader is connected to a USB port. CONSTITUTION: A reader driver(10) receives an initialization command of a driver from a user program(30). The reader driver initializes the driver. The reader driver transfers an initialization state to the user program(S120). The reader driver extracts and encodes smart card information(S140,S150). The reader driver transfers the encoded information to the user program(S170). |
