PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating wastewater and waste-oil containing iron components is provided to improve the eliminating efficiency of iron components contained in wastewater and waste-oil and to supply coolant or rolling oil of high quality. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating wastewater and waste-oil containing iron components includes a storing tank(31), a magnetism separating tank, a washing water tank(34), and a washing unit(35). Wastewater or waste-oil transferred into the storing tank through supplying lines(36, 37) which are in connection with the storing tank. The wastewater or the waste-oil passes through the magnetism separating tank, and iron components are eliminated from the wastewater or the waste-oil. The magnetism separating tank includes an electromagnet(42) and a porous matrix-shaped filtering unit(43). The nozzle of a washing unit sprays washing water to a filtering unit. The magnetism separating tank is composed of a first separating bath(32) and a second separating bath(33). Iron component separating processes and filtering unit washing processes are alternately implemented in the first separating bath and a second separating bath.
