PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device which has high light-utilization efficiency and can be miniaturized and thin-shaped. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging device comprises a plurality of light receiving parts and a planar light-condensing lens arranged via at least a planarization layer and a color-filter layer on a light receiving plane which is constituted by arranging the light receiving parts. The light-condensing lens is constituted by arranging a plurality of microlenses at positions so as to correspond to the respective light receiving parts. Each microlens has a refractive index distribution in which a refractive index increases from the peripheral edge to the center. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
