PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for filtering a SMS message transmitted to a subscriber terminal via a wireless communication network from a source terminal. SOLUTION: The system and the method for filtering the SMS message transmitted to the subscriber terminal via the wireless communication network from the source terminal are provided. The method includes a step of providing permission criteria provided from a subscriber, a step of deciding the permission state of the source terminal about the transmission of the SMS message to the subscriber terminal, using the permission criteria; and a step of filtering the SMS message, based on the deciding step. The system includes a means of providing the permission references provided from the subscriber, a means of deciding the permission state of the source terminal, and a means of filtering the SMS message, based on the permission state of the source terminal.
