PURPOSE: A display apparatus which includes a thin film transistor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to directly contact a pixel electrode and a drain electrode of the thin film transistor, thereby shortening a mask process step. CONSTITUTION: A gate line(101) and a data line(103) are alternatively arranged in order to define a pixel region. A switching device is arranged on a region crossed by the gate line and the data line. A pixel electrode(109) has a symmetrical structure in up and down directions with the center of the pixel region. A gate pad(110) and a data pad(130) are respectively extended from the data line and the gate line. A data pad contact part(140) is electrically connected to the data pad through a third contact hole.
