PURPOSE: An idling limiting device to operate an air conditioner is provided to keep the inside of a vehicle fresh in an idling limitation state by periodically operating an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: An idling limiting device to operate an air conditioner comprises a bypass circulating line, an auxiliary pump(15), and a control unit(30). The bypass circulating line connects the front end of a compressing pump(11) to its rear end. The auxiliary pump is driven by power of a vehicle storage battery on the bypass circulating line. The control unit controls the operation of the auxiliary pump so that the auxiliary pump periodically repeats operation and stop after a given time passes in a state engine has stopped due to idling limitation. The control unit controls the operation of a changeover valve so that the flow of refrigerant faces the compressing pump if engine starts after idling limitation. |
