The floor (10) has a symmetrical plane (50) dividing the floor into two halves (5, 7). Asymmetrical and symmetrical locking gaps (25, 27) include locking elements (30) i.e. elongate locking elements, for securing standard freight containers (20) e.g. pallets and containers, in a longitudinal direction of an aircraft (1). The locking elements are provided on a height in the direction. The locking elements are arranged only in one of the halves. The locking elements are arranged so that locking jaws form a stop line for the freight container.
