PURPOSE: An apparatus for collecting carbon dioxide is provided to reduce a cost required for operating the apparatus by saving thermal energy to be supplied to an absorbent regenerating process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for collecting carbon dioxide includes an absorbing unit(100), a regenerating unit(110), a compressing unit(120), a thermal exchanging unit(130), a gas/liquid separating unit(140). The absorbing unit contacts exhaust gas and an absorbent to absorb carbon dioxide from the exhaust gas. The regenerating unit heats the absorbent from the absorbing unit and separates carbon dioxide from the absorbent. The compressing unit compresses mixed gas of carbon dioxide and vapor from the regenerating unit. The thermal exchanging unit thermally exchanges the mixed gas, water, and low concentration absorbent. The gas/liquid separating unit separates carbon dioxide and water. Separated condensed water is re-supplied to the regenerating unit. |
