#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves evaluating a yarn unwinding speed and related parameters of a yarn transformation process e.g. simple twist process, based on a quality representing the amount of yarn wound on one of the bobbins (2), so that the unwinding speed remains within the limits imposed by unwinding conditions. The speed of rotation of a spindle (4) and a traction speed of the yarn are controlled, by motorizations (12-14) independent from those at adjacent positions, based on an amplitude representing the quality of yarn wound on the bobbin. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a yarn transformation process monitoring method. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for monitoring a yarn transformation process such as a yarn simple twist, multiple twist, direct twisting and reaming processes, that is utilized for unwinding a yarn e.g. filament yarn, from a supply bobbin of a yarn transformation installation by using a baulk. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method increases the productivity of the yarn transformation installation and optimizes the yarn transformation process and the speed of the production, while minimizing the consequences of limitations resulting from improper unwinding.
