#CMT# #/CMT# Adhesive composition having carbonate and/or bicarbonate base in pulverized solid form comprises a mixture of a water-soluble adhesive polymer ( 75-99 wt.%); carbonate and/or bicarbonate base of 1-25 wt.% of an alkaline element or ammonium ion, and optionally an organic acid (5 wt.%) at a pH of 6-11. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is included for a process of fighting against the acarina present in the vicinity of the wall liner in dwelling place comprising diluting the composition in the water at a part by weight ratio of 1:15-25 and applying the wet adhesive on the lining at a rate of 150-300 g/m 2>, followed by fixing it on the wall. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The composition is useful to fight against acarina in the wall liner (claimed) like glass fabrics, textiles or wallpapers. The base is present at 3-20 wt.%. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The organic acid is citric acids (preferred), sulfamic acid or tartaric acids. The pH of the acid is 7-9. The amount acid present in the composition is greater than 5%, preferably greater than 0.5%. #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# Preferred Composition: The composition comprises a mixture comprising the base at 80-99 wt.% and a softening agent at 1-20 wt.%. Preferred Components: The adhesive polymer is a cellulose derivative, starch, modified starch, a homopolymer or copolymer containing vinyl acetate and/or polyvinyl alcohol. The adhesive polymer is present at 80-97 wt.%. Preferred Process: The composition and water are mixed at 1:15-20 parts by weight ratio and the wet adhesive is applied to the lining at a rate of 180-250 g/m 2>. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# The adhesive composition comprises (wt.%): Walocel MW 15000 GB (RTM: Granular methylhydroxycethylcellulose) (34.5); Dexylose I 231 (RTM: Modified corn starch wax) (22); Elotex E 518/138-2 (RTM: Vinyl acetate homopolymer) (23.50); sodium bicarbonate (16.66); amorphous silica (2.94); and pH related wet glue (7.97).
