The present invention relates to a household appliance, in particular a clothes dryer or washing/drying machine, adapted to carry out at least one drying treatment on one or more soft goods , at least one of said one or more soft goods being prone to felting, said clothes dryer or washing/drying machine comprising a drum, said drum having substantially a shape of a hollow cylinder and being adapted to contain the soft goods during said at least one drying treatment and to be rotated about its axis through a motor device, said household appliance being characterized by comprising at least one clamping device (10;20) adapted to clamp said at least one of said soft goods during said at least one drying treatment, so as to partially or totally prevent said at least one of said soft goods from felting during said at least one drying treatment. |
