PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head which suppresses the wetting of the face surface for a long period of time, and has high printing reliability. SOLUTION: This inkjet recording head has a discharging port for discharging ink, a passage communicating with the discharging port, a pressure generating element which is provided in the passage for applying energy for the ink discharge, an ink tank for feeding the ink to the passage, and an atmosphere communicating port which is connected with the ink tank.
