The invention relates to a method for computing robust and improved Signal-in-Space Accuracy parameters in a Regional or Global Navigation Satellite System comprising at least one the following acts of:
determining individual Signal-in-Space Error vectors (S10);
mapping the individual Signal-in-Space Error vectors to a service area (S12);
accumulating empirical sample sets (S14);
processing density functions of estimations of accumulated sample sets (S16);
individually overbounding the density functions in the Galileo overbounding sense or in the sense of paired overbounding with excess mass (S18); and selecting a worst case according to predefined requirements (S20). |
