<p>The device has pressure chambers (16, 24, 31) connected with a hydraulic system by connectors (17, 25, 32) in a knife edged ring cover (15) over channels (23, 29) for application of knife edged ring piston (9) and a scanning piston against effective direction of a bias jerk (P1). The channel is arranged separately in a main cylinder. A scanning table (7) is held against a clamping device, which is engaged at a main plate (6), in a defined scanning position. A sensor transfers signal to a computer for emergency stop of a press to protect an upper tool during change of the scanning distance. An independent claim is also included for a method for preventing a tool from breaking during fine cutting and/or reforming a work piece.</p> |
