PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an FRP molding in which a desired pattern etc., are formed on the surface, and the intermediate layer is molded by a conventional SMC (sheet molding compound) and to provide a method for producing an excellent FRP molding in which resins of the surface layer and the inner surface (intermediate) layer are prevented from mixing to be brought on the surface by altering the SMC composing both layers. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the FRP molding, an SMC/A forming the surface layer of the FRP molding and an SMC/B forming the back layer of the molding are set in a mold while holding a fibrous, porous material which is preferably a glass cloth or a polyester nonwoven fabric between them and molded while being pressurized and heated.
