PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process and regenerate multimedia data in a navigation system. SOLUTION: This navigation system 10 is provided with a multimedia processor 30 and a navigation processor 40. The multimedia processor 30 receives multimedia information containing VICS information from a DSRC route side system, via a DBRC transceiver 20, and imparts a level 3 of data to the navigation processor 40 to generate a display image and an output voice by own self. The navigation processor 40 combines the level 3 of data imparted from the multimedia processor 30, a GPS signal supplied from a GPS receiver 50, a map data stored in an inside and the like, and forms thereby an image of a display object to be supplied to the multimedia processor 30.
