Retaining Wall Using PHC Pile

PURPOSE: A water-blocking and earth-retaining wall using PHC piles is provided to enable an earth retaining wall to be simply formed as a water blocking wall since a water blocking plate is installed between PHC piles. CONSTITUTION: A water-blocking and earth-retaining wall using PHC piles comprises PHC piles(10), a water blocking plate(20), a channel member(11), and shear connectors(12). The PHC piles are arranged at intervals from each other. The water blocking plate connects neighboring PHC piles to prevent water leak. The channel member is inserted into both outer surfaces on a central line(CL) passing the center on the cross section of the pile to form a groove(111) to hold the water blocking plate. The shear connectors are installed at regular intervals in the length direction of the channel member and integrate the channel member into the PHC pile.
