PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding device and winding method capable of attaining a reduction in cost, a more compact size of product, and shortening of winding time by minimizing wasteful parts, as much as possible. SOLUTION: Two separators 3 and 4 are pulled to a prescribed position, a plus electrode foil 5 is guided to the prescribed position, so as to be nipped by the separators 3, and 4, and a winding core 22 is protruded. A protruding length X1 of the plus electrode foil 5 is set about half of a winding core width W, and the protruding length of the separators 3 and 4 is set to the winding core width or smaller. A negative electrode foil 6 is guided, so as to be nipped by the separators 3 and 4 under winding, when the winding core 22 is rotated 180 deg.. The guided length X2 of the negative electrode foil 6 is set to about half of the winding core width W. The total of the lengths X2 and X1 is set smaller than the winding core width W. Thereafter, the winding core 22 is rotated at a high speed. |
