The invention relates to a method for production of a composite chassis piece for a vehicle, in particular, for production of a roof module in a tool (10), which has a first (14) and a second tool piece (12) adjustable relative to each other. A planar visual element (16) is placed in the first tool piece and an outer skin (26) in the second tool piece, the boundary region of the visual element being placed on a seal arrangement (20, 120) provided on the first tool piece for sealed contact, plastic material (24) is applied between the outer skin and the visual element, a forming of the plastic material being provided by the first and second tool pieces and the composite chassis piece released from the seal arrangement and removed from the tool. |
