The module (1) has a mounting carrier (2) for accommodating functional components e.g. cooling modules, and a connection carrier (4) for connecting an upper cross carrier (3) with a lower cross carrier. A hollow chamber extends in a longitudinal direction (L) of metal hollow profiles e.g. extruding press profiles. A contact surface extends on an edge side (6) of the hollow profiles turned towards the connection carrier. The contact surface has a fastening contour such that the hollow profiles are connected with plastic support part (8) in a force-fit and/or form-fit and/or material-fit manner.
