The connection assembly has abutments (2) provided with a coronal opening and an apical opening. A ring (4) is used for holding a screw (3) that is inserted into the abutments, where the ring is fixed into the coronal opening of the abutments in a force-fit, positive-fit or material-fit manner. The ring is positively pressed into the opening of the abutments, where the abutments comprise a deformable coronal-seated abutment edge. The deformation of the abutment edge is performed by bending and/or rolling.
