PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing system allowing a driver to obviously know at first glance the traveling direction about a district sign at an intersection. SOLUTION: A navigation ECU 3 recognizes the district sign in a picked-up image of a forward image pickup camera 14 by image processing on the basis of sign information such as absolute positional coordinates of the district sign on a map and height information of the district sign from the ground, and recognizes the district name matching with the traveling direction of an own vehicle and an arrow mark by pattern matching or the like (S6). The navigation ECU 3 acquires precise relative positional relationship between the own vehicle and the district name or the arrow mark matching with the traveling direction on the district sign in the picked-up image, calculates coordinate data of a drawing target position for drawing a mark of a prescribed irradiation shape indicating the district name or the arrow mark, determines a laser irradiation angle from the own vehicle position or the own vehicle direction, and draws the mark of the prescribed irradiation shape by a laser drawing device 4 (S7 to S9).
