PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share documents between a device itself and a terminal device connected to LAN other than a terminal device connected to the own device. SOLUTION: A plurality of MFPs (Multi Function Printer) 1 each having PC2 connected to each MFP 1 itself are connected one another via a network different from the LAN, e.g. an Internet IN. Then, a shared document file stored in each of the MFPs 1 and to be shared between the PCs 2 connected to each of the MFPs 1 via the LAN is stored in another MFP 1 by communication via the Internet IN between the MFPs 1.
