The invention is reported to the gearboxes and more specifically to the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) type. The aim of the gearbox is to change the relation of the movemenbt transmission. To the classic gearboxes this is achieved by usingseparate pairs of cogwheels, system that even if it is cumbersome and it has inevitable limited number of relations, has the advantage to be stable and durable. The prevailing form of existing CVT gearboxes is constituted by a steel belt which connects two variable diameter pulleys. The one pulley is connected with the exit of the engine force and the other with the movement transmission axis. Each pulley is constituted by two disks that deviate or converge with the help of a hydraulic machanism, in this way it increases or decreases the place in which the form V belt touches. Thus, the semi diameter of rotation variables and in extension the transmission relation. The biggest problem that the specific systems face is the belt staying power, contrary to the cogwheels. The growth of high surface tendencies in the time of the pulleys diameter changing labours the belt as it is called to transport almost all the engine force, and without a certain toothed holding system, supported exclusively in the friction resistance. |
