Ortho-substituted bisaryl compounds of the general formula (I) and pharmaceutical preparations comprising them. Said compounds are particularly suitable for use as antiarrythmic substances, especially in the treatment and prophylaxis of atrial arrhythmia, for example, atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter.
