PURPOSE: A door latch for a vehicle having a simplified assembling structure of a switch is provided to recognize the opening and closing state of an entrance by recognizing the rotation state of a latch gear installed in a base plate. CONSTITUTION: A door latch for a vehicle having a simplified assembling structure of a switch comprises a latch gear(11), a pawl lever, and a release lever(13). The latch gear is formed in a base plate with an opening and restricts a striker entering through the opening. The pawl lever restricts the rotation of the latch gear. The release lever releases the restricted state of the latch gear by receiving external force from a handle. |
