PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a host device which shortens time required for restoration from a state that an application cannot use a USB device recognized by an OS to raise operation efficiency. SOLUTION: For the USB device 3 connected to a USB interface 14, when disconnection, connection are continuously detected, the OS restarts a USB device control module. Thus, the time taken by restoration of the application from a state that the application can not use the USB device 3 is shortened and the operation efficiency can be raised since a handle managed by the OS does not match to a handle held by the USB device control module for the USB device 3.
