PURPOSE: An SNS(Social Network Service) information notifying device and a method thereof are provided to display alarm display information on a standby screen of a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: An interface(201) receives a first information request including access information from a mobile terminal. A controller(203) extracts an acquaintance identifier by referring to an address sync server which is related to the mobile terminal. A processor(205) collects posting information corresponding to the extracted acquaintance identifier from an accessed SNS site using the access information. The processor provides alarm display information about the collected posting information to the mobile terminal in response to the first information request. The processor displays the alarm display information on the standby screen of the mobile terminal.
