PURPOSE: A primer set for detecting PERV(porcine endogenous retrovirus) is provided to ensure high specificity and selectivity of PERV. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for detecting PERV comprises: oligonucleotide having base sequences of sequence numbers 13 and 14; or oligonucleotide having base sequences of sequence numbers 15 and 16. A composition for detecting PERV contains the primer set. A method for detecting PERV comprises: a step of preparing biological sample from animal cells, tissue, or organ; a step of performing gene amplification; and a step of detecting amplified product. |
