PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display controller capable of displaying a process that a plurality of images change over in the form easily identifiable to a viewer when the images are successively displayed on a display device. SOLUTION: The image display controller displays the first image in a prescribed position within a prescribed display region, then repetitively performing the processing to create and display the first shift image showing the first image in the first display position within the display region in the state of lowering lightness of at least a part of the range within the display region while moving the first display position in a direction parting from a prescribed region, and repetitively performing the processing to create and display the second shift image showing the second image in the second display position within the display region in the state of lowering lightness of at least a part of the range within the display region while moving the second display position in a direction approaching a prescribed region, then displaying the second image in the prescribed position.
