FIELD: consumable and rechargeable fuel containers for fuel cells. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel container for keeping methane and water, methanol and water mixture, or methanol and water mixtures of different concentration has filler insert, preferably that occupying small space in fuel container to make it capable of fuel distribution and supply to fuel cells in capillary flow. In addition, filler insert remains in physical contact with fuel at any position of fuel container and at any fuel level within the latter. Fuel container can have more than one chambers; each chamber should better contain fuel of different concentration. As an alternative, fuel container may have pump designed to create fuel flow from fuel tank. In addition, this pump can regulate fuel flow and shut it off, if necessary, this being very important. ^ EFFECT: enlarged amount of fuel kept in container which enhances service life of the latter. ^ 26 cl, 25 dwg |
