A device having shared memory and a method for transmitting code data are provided to transmit a boot code stored in a non-volatile memory in a shortest time, and to control a bank numeral which is a physical storage area of shared memory to be shown in a main processor and an additional processor as the same sequence. A main processor(210) and an additional processor(220) are able to be joined as a structure which shares one share memory(230). The main processor is joined with non-volatile memory(240) through an MP-MM(Main Processor-Main Memory) bus, and joined with share memory through an MP-SM bus. And the main processor is joined with the additional processor through MP-AP bus, and is able to output control commands for controlling the additional processor through the MP-AP bus. Wherein, multiple program codes are able to be stored in the non-volatile memory. The additional processor is joined with the share memory through the AP-SM bus to record any data in a specified storage area of the share memory and to read out the recorded data. The additional processor is able to transmit the access request information to a share memory so as to be connected to a common area. The share memory outputs access state information if access request information is received from any processor. A display device(250) is able to be joined with the additional processor.
