Structure for Open Cut Excavation Using Light Weight Composite Lining Boards, and Their Construction Methods

PURPOSE: A cut-and-cover excavation structure and a cut-and-cover excavation method using multistage excavation and a lining panel are provided to improve the quality control of a pipeline. CONSTITUTION: A cut-and-cover excavation structure using multistage excavation and a lining panel comprises a lower excavation unit(210), an upper excavation unit, earth retaining walls(10), support angles, horizontal girders(30), and lining panels(40). A pipeline(500) is arranged on the lower excavation unit. The upper excavation unit is formed from the lower excavation unit to the ground and has a wider width than the lower excavation unit. The earth retaining walls are formed on the walls of the excavated ground. The support angles are longitudinally extended from end protrusions(230) formed inside the ground. The horizontal girders support the lining panels. The lining panels cover the upper excavation unit.
