TIRE TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION

A rubber composition for tire treads is provided to improve modulus, tensile strength, elongation and wear resistance as compared to a rubber composition using general Na-montmorillonite. A rubber composition for tire treads comprises: 100 parts by weight of base rubber; 20-60 parts by weight of silica; 30-70 parts by weight of carbon black; and 1-10 parts by weight of demineralized nanoclay obtained by demineralizing sodium montmorillonite(Na-MNT) by using dimethylstearyl amine quaternized with sulfur chloride.
