PURPOSE: A method for controlling a call of a video call terminal using a mobile communication terminal and a device thereof are provided to supply a call receiving alarm and a calling number to a pre-registered mobile communication terminal when a call is requested to a bidirectional TV terminal with a call function. CONSTITUTION: A call forwarding information DB stores a call forwarding phone number mapped on a video call terminal. A call control type selection request unit(123) requests selection of a call control method by the call forwarding phone number if the video call terminal receives a call request. A call forwarding controller(125) receives selection information about the call control method from the terminal of the call forwarding phone number. The call forwarding controller connects a call to the video call terminal based on the received selection information. The call forwarding controller connects a call to the call forwarding phone number.
