A DEVICE OF REMOVING A CARBONATE REMOVAL DEVICE AND METHOD OF REMOVING A CARBONATE FOR USE OF THE SAME

An apparatus and a method for removing carbonate are provided to improve convenience of use and productivity by continuously cooling a cooling solution used for plating work. A carbonate removal apparatus comprises a cooling unit(200), a drain valve(300), a separator(400) and a reservoir tank(500). The cooling unit cools a plating solution used for plating work. The drain valve is provided at a lower portion of the cooling unit such that the drain valve is selectively open to drain carbonate and the plating solution. The separator applies centrifugal force to the carbonate and the plating solution, which are drained from the drain valve, so that they are separated from each other. The plating solution separated from the carbonate is stored in the reservoir tank.
