A device for preventing abrasion of a valve plate and a valve guard of a compressor is provided to form holding protrusions on an inner periphery of a fitting hole of the valve plate to be inserted into a rotation preventing groove of the valve guard, thereby preventing rotation of the valve plate. A device for preventing abrasion of a valve plate and a valve guard of a compressor includes the valve plate(120) formed with a fitting hole(121) and holding protrusions(122) formed on an inner periphery of the fitting hole, and the valve guard(110) formed with a guide post(112) formed with a coupling hole(111) in the center of a top surface thereof and a spring groove(113) indented to the outside of the guide post, wherein the guide post is inserted into the fitting hole.
