PURPOSE: A method for displaying a contact on the screen of a mobile phone is provided to additionally display details for a caller registered in a contact list on a screen. CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone supporting a contact photo registers details of a contact in a contact photo by a contact photo registering unit(140). If the details of the contact are registered in the contact photo, a contact detail information display unit(150) displays the details of the contact by a picture when a call is received. A mobile phone not supporting a contact photo function searches a calling phone number from a contact list using call receiving managing software if a call is received. The mobile phone displays the details of the contact on a screen by texts or photos.
