PURPOSE: A construction method of a stiffener cell for an internal tank of an LNG storage tank is provided to reduce construction period because a stiffener is attached to a cell in a separate shop first and the cell with the stiffener attached is transferred to an installation site. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a stiffener cell for an internal tank of an LNG storage tank is as follows. A cell(100) is placed on a stiffener work table in a shop and a shop installation stiffener(200) is welded to the interior surface of the cell. A cell construction work table is installed on the interior surface of the uppermost cell inside a completed internal tank. Cells with shop installation stiffeners are transported to a cell installation trolley and the cell installation trolley is transferred to the entrance of the internal tank. Cells stacked in the cell installation trolley are lifted and installed in a corresponding position. Adjacent cells are welded into one body. A site installation stiffener is lifted and transferred to a cell installation work table underneath a corresponding position. The site installation stiffener is installed in the corresponding position. The interior, left and right ends of the site installation stiffener are welded to a shop installation stiffener adjacent to the interior side of each cell.
