PURPOSE: A system for realizing a smart key using a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to perform a locking function through a smart key application of the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal(110) generates an authentication key using a seed key of a smart key(120). The first terminal is synchronized with the smart key using the authentication key. The first terminal transmits a first control signal to a second terminal which controls a first control signal for controlling the second terminal which is operated by the smart key. The first terminal comprises a smart key module. The smart key module transmits the first control signal which is the same as a control signal of the smart key for operating the second terminal.
