摘要 PURPOSE: An RFID(Radio-Frequency Identification)-based unmanned robot and a method using the same for inspecting stocks are provided to prevent delay of inspecting time and damage of the robot due to recognition error because the location of the robot is accurately recognized. CONSTITUTION: An RFID-based unmanned robot(1) for inspecting stocks comprises a driving unit(10), a photographing unit(40), a RFID reader(20), a vertically actuating unit(30), a wireless LAN(Local Area Network) unit(50), and a control unit(80). The driving unit moves the robot. The RFID reader receives information for location and stocks having RFID tags(2) from RFID tags positioned around the robot The vertically actuating unit controls the height of the RFID reader by operating upward and downward the RFID reader. The wireless LAN unit transmits the information for location and stocks to a host(3) through wireless LAN communication. The control unit recognizes RFID tags based on photographed images in the photographing unit and the control unit controls the wireless LAN unit to transmit the stock information to the host if RFID tags are recognized. The control unit controls the driving unit by setting routine information based on the location information.
